How to get EDS (KEP) in PrivatBank
How to quickly and free obtain an electronic digital signature (abbreviated EDS or electronic key) through the Privat24 internet banking service.
To receive an electronic key from PrivatBank, you must perform the following sequence of actions:

Log in to your Privat24 personal account

Go to the section in the top menu " All services " on the top panel, click on the line " Business " and select " Download certificate "
- Then there are options for the development of events:
the program moves to the next stage,
select "Install extension" after the message "You need to install a browser extension" appears
unlock the plugin if the message "Plugin found but blocked. Unlock СryptoPlugin to continue working" appears.
- A plate with personal data should appear on the screen, which must be checked for correctness and absence of errors.
- After pressing the green button "The data is correct", you should choose a place (folder, directory) where the file with an electronic signature will be saved. It is recommended to create a new folder on any of the drives on your computer.
- A new window will prompt you to create a keystore password . The password must have 8 or more characters of the Latin alphabet and numbers, and to avoid an error, it will be necessary to enter it twice in the specified fields. Remember, or rather write down, this password!
- Then , in the proposed window, you need to enter your phone number, and below - a code from SMS, which will be sent to your phone for confirmation.
- The last stage of obtaining an electronic digital signature will be confirmation of the terms of use of the system by pressing the " Next " button.
- The serial number of the electronic digital signature certificate is displayed on the screen. Confirmation of the issuance of the KEP (EC) should be sent to the e-mail.
Now the KEP key (ESP) is issued.
There are two important nuances:
- EDS registration is possible only if you have a PrivatBank card.
- the electronic key from PrivatBank is valid for 1 year, and its expiration date can be found under the serial number of the certificate.
