When buying Ukrainian agricultural machinery, 15% of the cost will be reimbursed

"The proposed support of 15% will be effective in 2017 for enterprises with a localization level of 35%. In 2018 - 45%, in 2019 - 55%, in 2020 - 60%. That is, thanks to these decisions, we strive to support the Ukrainian production of equipment. We want to achieve 60% localization level by 2020," said Taras Kutovy.

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman noted the importance of supporting Ukrainian technology production, commenting on the relevant decisions.

"We want the equipment to be produced using Ukrainian components as much as possible. This will enable us to create thousands of jobs in the sector and related sectors," the Prime Minister emphasized.

The Minister also reminded that in accordance with the allocation of the 2017 budget for the agricultural industry, UAH 550 million is allocated to support machine building (this is 10% of the total budget amount). For the next year - 15% and, accordingly, UAH 900 million.

"In 2019, support for mechanical engineering will already amount to 20%. That is, we will be able to reach the level of more than 1 billion for agricultural producers. I think that this should have a very positive effect on the production and development of the sector as a whole," the head of the ministry said.
